The Paly boys’ golf team took to the golf course today down in Salinas in its first tournament of the season. The Vikings placed second, shooting 394 behind Serra High School which shot 377.

Henry Gordon (’16) and Patrick Fuery (’14) scored the best for the team, both shooting 76.

Captain Alex Hwang (’15) sees room for improvement as the season continues.

“I was really proud of my team because I played poorly but they all picked up their games and did really well,” Hwang said. “I think we have the potential to be really good once everyone starts playing better.”

The Vikings will play against Los Altos High School next Monday at 3 p.m.
