Girls’ cross-country places third at santa clara meet

Lady Vikes take off at the Santa Clara meet

Paly girls’ cross-country placed third out of 12 at the SCVAL meet at Central Park in Santa Clara this Tuesday.

With 115 points, Paly trailed Monta Vista (54 points) and cross-town rival Gunn (106 points).

Placing first for the Lady Vikes was Katie Foug (‘15), who finished fourth overall with a time of 14:23 on the 2.3 mile course. Chika Kasahara placed sixth overall and second for Paly with a time of 14:26.

The varsity girls will run this Saturday at the Stanford Invitational meet, where schools from all across the state will be present and the competition will be fierce.
