This Wednesday the girls’ varsity lacrosse team supported the “play for Seton Hill movement,” wearing their colors in support of the teams traumatic experience.

In a horrifying automobile accident, on Saturday March 16, the  Seton Hill women’s lacrosse team, lost control of their tour bus on the Pennsylvania turnpike. The crash resulted in the death of head coach Kristin Quigley, 30, who was estimated to be six months pregnant. The driver of the bus also died and numerous players were injured.

In this tragic incident that left loved ones heartbroken, a movement called “play for Seton Hill” was created. The movement spread rapidly over social media, including, twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Over thousands of teams participated, wearing Seton Hill colored ribbons on their cleats.

Paly’s own girls’ varisty lacrosse team participated to support and honor the team’s hardships.
