Palo Alto High School’s star quarterback Keller Chryst (’14) also turns out to be a star basketball defender. In a game against Los Gatos High School, Chryst makes an amazing block to prevent the wildcats from scoring. The Paly Vikings went on to win the game 57-32.

Annie is a senior at Paly and joined The Viking staff last year because she's a fan of Paly sports and journalism. She plays for the varsity basketball team as a shooting guard and was part of the first ever CCS Championship team two years ago season. On the weekends she volunteers at the Palo Alto Animal Shelter with cats that are up for adoption.
