With a third of their season over, the girl’s varsity tennis team wins against Homestead high school with a score of 4-3 at home.

After losing multiple games in a row, Coach Harader stressed the importance of winning today’s game. However, this will be difficult as Homestead is currently close in standings to the Paly girls tennis team.

“We’re kind of in the middle and this team is the same so it’s going to be a very close match,” Coach Harader said.

Nevertheless, Coach Harader expressed his high hopes for the Paly girl’s tennis team.

“This is a winnable match for us,” Coach Harader said.

Even though the team has been losing players due to other extracurricular activities, the varsity tennis team pulled through and overcame their losing streak.

Captain Riya Dedatta reflects on the team’s performance yesterday and is happy that such an important game was won.

“It was a really good match; everyone played well and fought until the end,” captain Riya Dedatta said.

The Paly girls tennis team looks to begin their winning streak as they face off against Cupertino next week.
