Paly girls golf competed yesterday in the CCS sectional championship, attempting to qualify for the norcal regional championships. They finished sixth in the tournament, shooting 450 overall, missing the cut by 29 strokes.

They competed well, with their top performer, junior Alexa Pineda, shooting 80 which placed her in a four way tie for 21st.

The others who competed for Paly at this tournament included Angelina Chen (‘24), Allyson Lee (‘23), Meigan Lew (‘23), Anika Nair (‘25), and Lisa Chen (‘25), respectively each shooting 89, 90, 93, 98 and 113.

They have a longer offseason this year, which allows them for more time and preparation to repeat and for the underclassmen to have better results in this tournament next year.
