The Palo Alto High School girls’ lacrosse team smashed the Pioneer High School Mustangs 17-5 at home on Friday, April 23.
The Lady Vikes wasted no time getting on the board, scoring 11 goals in the first half while holding the Mustangs to only two goals.
Attacker Sam Herzog (’10) led the offensive effort with four goals, followed by attackers Charlotte Biffar (’13) and Kimmie Flather (’12) with three goals each.
Middie Emy Kelty (’12) led the team in ground ball recoveries, with seven, and also added two assists, despite playing on a broken foot.
The Lady Vikes play their last home game of regular season at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 30 against Burlingame.
