Paly’s Boys’ Baseball team played in a 6-hour-long game against Sequoia, lasting 19 innings. The game ended in a 7-4 loss, despite the immense hours and efforts spent.

“The game was extremely long so although we took the loss, a lot of players got opportunities and performed really well,” Nate Donaker (’24) said. “It was a tough loss for us but our pitching really kept us in the game the entire 19 innings.”

Pitching this game were sophomores Kanghee Cho and Isaiah Walker, and juniors Jake Papp and Julian Davis.

The game was tied after the seventh inning and stayed that way all the way until the 19th inning, where the Sequoia team scored three more runs, giving them the victory.

While the boys’ season has had a bit of a rocky start, they show a lot of potential and hard work to be paid off.

Catch them at their next game this Wednesday against Santa Clara, 4:00 pm at home.
