Paly Baseball beat Wilcox High School 11-7 on Wednesday, March 26.
After a loss against Willow Glen last week, Paly came into this game with high energy. From the beginning, the team performed on both defense and offense, and were able to keep up momentum the entire game to finish with a win.
From the jump, Paly quickly gained a lead. Offensively, the bats were rolling, and the pitching was great.
“Our pitching was great today with Mac and hickey on the bump, both doing a tremendous job, and the bats were hot, having around 11 hits,” sophomore Justin Fung said. “It was a great outing for everyone all the way around.”
As the game progressed, Paly kept adding to their lead and dug deep to come out with a win.
“I feel like we really came together as a team and got a great bounce-back win,” junior Nate Robinson said. “We needed the momentum, and we’re gonna keep it going.”
Overall, the entire team was contributing to the win, and Paly hopes to keep up this gameplay in the upcoming weeks.
