The Paly Girls Varsity Soccer team beat Los Altos at home with a final score of 3-0 on Friday, April 23rd. 

The Vikings started off strong with Jenni Solgaard (‘21) scoring within the first 5 minutes of the game. Shortly after, Brighid Baker (‘22) scored a goal as well. The final goal was scored by Natalia Maahs (‘21) within the last 10 minutes of the game.

Although the season was much different from previous years, a senior, Hailey Hwang (‘21) felt fortunate to be able to play with her teammates one last time. 

“It was really awesome to get a season despite COVID, especially senior year,” Hwang said. “I’m really glad the team was able to finish on a high note.”

The win was a great way to end the season and honor all the seniors on senior night. All the remaining players look forward to playing next season, which hopefully won’t be cut short.
