The Palo Alto High School girls’ water polo team defeated Wilcox High School 15-7 on Tuesday afternoon. The Vikings scored early in the game and did not look back. Emma Wolfe (‘14) scored 15 seconds into the match to give the Lady Vikes an early lead.
The Vikings continued their momentum throughout the entire game and did not allow Wilcox to get back into the match. Wolfe was pleased about the team’s overall performance.
“We set each other up well and made clean passes,” Wolfe said. “We communicated with each other and that is the main reason we won the game.”
The Vikings’ next game is this Thursday, when they will take on the Lynbrook High School Vikings at home.
