With the Palo Alto sports season just getting underway for the winter sports the Girls Golf team, who are the former state champions, kicked off their season right back where they finished with one of their best matches of the season going head up against the Los Gatos Wildcats at the Sunken Gardens Golf Course, a 9 hole course over in Sunnyvale. The Vikings were led by Lauren Sung (junior) shooting 5 under and Madison Pineda (senior) shooting 4 under par. The Girls Golf team had their best match of the season so far and recorded their best cumulative score they have ever had at 7 under par.
