The Boys water polo team take on the Homestead Mustangs and win 16-9, upholding their winning streak of 3 and 0 for league games.

“We’re feeling pretty good about our chances in leagues this year, and it’s obviously nice to have a streak going for our games,” junior Harrison Dike said.

The team was substituting players continuously throughout the game and did not let up on both defense and offense to ensure they got the win.

“I honestly think this team has so much potential, and these past few league games have just been proof of how hard we’ve been working outside of the competitions,” Dike said.

A big factor in the team’s success has not only been the number of committed athletes on the team, but also the hard work and dedication that each player puts in. The boys have been pushing themselves to become the best team they can be, practicing two hours a day six days a week, aside from game days. They will continue to work with vigor, especially in the upcoming weeks with the league game-winning streak in their minds.
