Paly Girls Golf begins their league matches with a loss against Lynbrook with a score of 227-234. This loss comes just two days after a very strong performance in their away tournament. The quick turnaround of another event happening may have played a big part in their struggles.
“[Wednesday] was definitely not our best performance,” Allyson Lee (‘23) said. “Everyone had a rough day especially with the pin placements and yardages.”
While the loss was definitely a disappointing one for the team, spirits among the team are still high as the team believes that they are right where they want to be.
“The result wasn’t ideal, but Lynbrook looks really strong this season,” Anika Nair (‘25) said. “Losing by seven means we can still challenge them.”
Girls golf takes on Santa Clara at home on Tuesday, where they hope to get back on track to their winning ways.
