Paly girls volleyball falls to rival Los Gatos

Paly girls volleyball lost to Los Gatos on Thursday night by a score of 3 sets to 1.

“We didn’t come into the game very strong and competitively, but we got momentum towards the end,” Evie Kramer said (’23).

Although Los Gatos won in 4 sets, the Vikings kept it competitive throughout, with each set finishing within 7 points.

This competitive spirit was a positive note for Paly as they had an uphill battle from the beginning, with several players out sick.

“It was a tough game but we still played super hard despite the challenges,” Kylie Yen (’24) said.

With this loss, the team drops to 13-6 on the year and 1-2 in league play. The Vikes look to bounce back next week against another league rival, Monta Vista, on Wednesday the 28th.
