After a long week of 7 games, and daily practices, the girls take on their first league game of the week against Castilleja and take the win with a final score of 11-7.
Junior Lydia Mitz knows that the win was a tough one to get, but that the team showed resilience.
“It was a hard game because we had a lot of games last week so everyone was a little exhausted, but we managed to push through and take the win by playing some team defense,” Mitz said.
Along with this strong win, the girls are now on a streak since they beat the Cats last week.
“The win means a lot to our team and especially after our win against Gatos, we’re adding to our confidence about the success we can have this season,” senior Anne Threlkeld said.
We look forward to a strong season for these girls, and they have shown that their potential to make an impact in the league is prevalent from this win.
