The Paly girls volleyball team defeated Monta Vista in an exciting 4-1 match.
Paly had a rough start to the game and ended up losing the first set; the girls were able to pick up speed however, winning the next four on their way to victory.
“We started off a bit slow and our defense wasn’t great so we lost the first set,” Naama Green said (‘25). “We were able to refocus and play with more energy and went on to win the next three.”
The girls have an overall impressive record so far this season of 13 wins to three losses. This record is a testament to all of the team’s hard work.
“I think a goal for our team this season is starting off games strong because we’ve struggled with that in a lot of our past games,” Green said.
With the team’s recent success, they are hoping to carry that momentum into their upcoming away match against Cupertino this Wednesday.
