The Paly Field Hockey team faced off Monta Vista in their hometown on a Thursday afternoon, and beat them 9-0. The team was able to start off strong to guarantee their win for the game.
“It was great to start the season with a win,” Tarika Pillay (26′) said. “I know that we are going into a really hard season this year, so it was nice to get off on the right foot.”
Paly Field Hockey worked together till the end to secure this win for today.
“Our team as a whole played very well today which is great for our second game,” Senior Lucy Griffin said. “We helped each other out on the field, had good hits, communicated well, which all led to our team victory”
Overall, everyone on the team was contributing, and they hope to bring the same momentum to the next game for another dub of the season.
