The Vikings got a huge win last Thursday on senior night against Fremont High School at home. After losing their past two games, this win boosted the team’s morale going into their tournament over the weekend.
“I think that Thursday’s game was a great confidence booster going into our tournament on Friday, and a good experience for our seniors,” junior Felix Ryans said.
The win was a memorable final home game for the seniors on the team.
“We played well and a lot of our seniors were able to have a fun time,” junior Jack Spitzer said.
The team would have a good performance during the tournament, winning 2 of their 3 games.
The team is hoping these wins have created enough courage for their upcoming game against Gunn on Tuesday.
“Playing well is always the most important thing, and when we play well we feel good and I think that’s a good confidence booster for the team,” Spitzer said.
The game against Gunn will take place at Fremont and will be the deciding factor of whether or not the Vikings make it to CCS.
