Paly field hockey suffered a tough loss to Archbishop Mitty 4-1 at home on October 1, 2024.

“We felt confident going into this game but knew that the team we were up against was going to be a tough one,” Junior Roni Horovitz said. “Our team played very hard and with lots of energy and were able to get some good looks on offense and defend decently well.

Even though the team was not able to secure the win, the girls were still able to use this game as a learning experience and to improve with their skills on offense and defense. 

“Our opponent was tough which we knew and this will definitely help the team moving forward as we continue to get better and learn how to play together,” Junior Annelise Sailer said. 

The Vikings will continue to push and get better as a team as the season progresses. Come out and support your Vikings for the rest of the year!
