The Paly boys water polo team crushed the Los Altos Eagles in a game on Thursday with a final score of 12-5.

“The energy from the players and the fans was electric,” senior Keiran Zajac said. “We played excellent defense and incorporated all that we had been working on during practice this week which is why we shut them down.”

Los Altos has been a top competitor of Paley’s water polo program, but as of this year, both the boys’ and girls’ teams have been able to take the win against them in league games.

“We had some great dynamics tonight and it was super fun to have both the boys and girls teams take the win against a pretty big rival of ours,” junior Grant Jauregui said.

At this point in the season, the boys take the lead in league game wins with a record of 7 and 1 and are on track to win league championships.
