Paly Girls Golf Defeats Los Gatos 204-235

The Paly girls golf team beat Los Gatos yesterday in their home match. The condition of the weather made the match more intense due to the excessive heat. 

The team managed to all shoot under 50. Emma Wang shot 34, Alexa Pineda shot 38, Anika Nair shot 39, Angelina Chen shot 47, and Lisa Chen shot 46, 

“Lisa and Sadie both made long putts on the last hole and the team did so well,” Freshman Emma Wang said. 

Alexa Pineda also reflects on the game and their victory against Los Gatos. 

“I didn’t play my best yesterday but under the circumstances I did my best and had fun beating gatos again,” Senior Alexa Pineda said. 

The girls golf team’s match ended in success as they are excited for their away match on Monday the 2nd against Lynbrook.
