The Paly Girls Golf team lost on their home course against Cupertino 277-279 on October 9th. The unfortunate loss dropped the team’s overall record for the league to 3 wins and 2 losses.
The team feels they were not able to perform their best because of the heat.
“It was 98 degrees that day and it was extremely hard to focus on the game,” junior Jessica Wong said. “I know that the heat impacted a lot of our other players’ performances as well.”
Still, with a positive mindset, the team looks forward to their next game against Santa Clara.
“It was unfortunate to take our second loss of the league,” Wong said. “But I’m confident we can pull back our performances for the next games.”
