Paly Girls Waterpolo defeated by Harker

Paly girls water polo fell to Harker School by a score of 6-0 last night.

The team struggled to find momentum through the game, but played hard regardless.

“We didn’t come out our strongest but this game really motivated us to come out and keep our heads in the game for Casti on Thursday,” senior Paige Henry said.

Following a challenging tournament on the weekend, the team was looking forward to the match, but struggled to gain momentum through the game.

Harker school, who boasts a record of 6-3, is a strong team in the area, so the team was excited to face them.

“This game did not show how strong we are as a team as we really struggled to work together offensively,” senior captain Sami Lee said.

Looking ahead, the team is excited to play Castilleja, a historically strong team who they narrowly lost to by a score of 8-7 in their last match up.
