With a quick win by number one singles player Nicky Hu (’12) 6-0, 6-1, the Vikings were off to a solid start. Paly was able to increase their lead with a win from number three singles player Austin Leung (’14) 6-2, 6-2.
However, the Gators tied up the match by defeating singles players Dar Shavit (’12) and Blake Smith (’14) 6-7, 4-6 and 5-7, 3-6 respectively.
With each team winning another match, the score was even at 3-3.
