In their final game of the season, the Paly softball team confidently beat Lynbrook by a large margin of 21 runs. Before the game, the Vikings celebrated their five graduating seniors: Madhu Ramkumar, Lauren Chung, Hailene Stitt, Ruthie Roach and Amanda Mershon.

“The game went very well for senior night,” said catcher and sophomore Hana Foster.

The Vikings were proud to have earned such a decisive game after a string of losses prior to this game.

“We have been on a losing streak lately so being able to secure a win (and on our last game) was pretty satisfying,” Foster said.

The Vikings feel bittersweet after finishing the season on a high note.

“I felt very happy that we won… but I was also sad that it meant there was going to be another goodbye,” said Foster.

Paly softball finished 4th in the El Camino league.
