Paly varsity softball lost to Wilcox High School at home on Tuesday 16-4. The Vikings have gone 4-1 so far this season, with high hopes for the rest of the season, they are not giving up.
“The game was definitely pretty rough, but we held them for a while and did a good job keeping up the energy and cheering on our teammates,” freshman Alana Chun said.
Freshman Laila Joshi explained more on how the game went for the Vikings.
“We were down by 6 in the first inning but the energy didn’t die and everyone had hustle and determination until the end,” Joshi said. “The support from our teammates is unmatched, which definitely helps everyone’s personal game. Overall we made some tough plays and played a great game today.”
The next home game is this Thursday, March 14, so come out to cheer on your Vikings!
