The Paly varsity track team participated in a CCS invitational event including Los Gatos, Bellarmine, among others.
The event is labeled as an invitational, so the team scores do not count to any league standings – it’s all about individual times.
“It was an amazing tournament,” Paly runner Nick Saffer (‘24) said. “The weather was great, and we had some great finishes from some of our runners.”
Neddie Kiessling (‘24) placed third in the 800m with a time of 1:56, an elite showing for the Vikings.
On the girls side, Kinga Czajkowska (‘25) won the mile. Czajkowska is still returning to form after a long term injury kept her out for the start of the season, so her dominant performance is extremely encouraging.
Paly hopes to keep their momentum going into the actual CCS Finals on May 18.
