Paly boys swim and dive had their first league meet on Friday night ending in a win against Homestead.
“It was awesome having our first dual meet at home, and it was great to come away with a close win to start the season off,” Roan Haney (‘25) said.
Holding onto their momentum from the double-dual meet last Friday against Saint Francis and Menlo Atherton, the boys keep their winning streak hot.
The swim team works fiercely and competes with many of their key swimmers missing.
“I wasn’t there because I had a swim meet in Texas for sectionals,” Jonathan Yuan (25) said. “I really wished I was there to help my team out.”
The dive team comes in clutch, winning by two points after the swim team ties the Homestead swim giving them a strong start to the season.
Hoping to keep the trend going, they enter their first away game next week against Los Gatos.
