Palo Alto High School boys’ lacrosse took care of business last week, taking down Archbishop Mitty (1-8) 13-6 on Monday and defeating Los Gatos (2-7) away 9-4 on Wednesday.
Paly came out strong against the Monarchs, scoring six goals in the first quarter. Lukas Peterson (’12) and Logan Mendenhall (’13) led Paly’s offensive charge.
On Wednesday, the Vikings traveled to Los Gatos, beating the Wildcats for the second time this season. The Vikings previously defeated Los Gatos by a score of 12-9. Despite the fact that Paly was missing three of its starters, they still pulled out a solid victory. Cory Valenti (’11) scored three goals and Josh Chin (’11) had a solid game in goal.
Paly’s next game is against Stevenson at 11:00 a.m. on April 16 at Stevenson.
