Paly girls lacrosse lost to Castilleja with a score of 18 to 16 this Thursday, but the team keeps their spirits high.
“It was really fun to work together as a team and keep the energy up for the entire game,” senior Scarlett Cummings said.
Attack received many shooting opportunities on both teams, making it an extremely high-scoring game. Even though the girls lost, Cummings is proud of the hard work on both attack and defense.
“Although we couldn’t secure the win, we kept our spirits high,” Cummings (’24) said.
Over the past few weeks, the team has competed against strong teams in the league. They’re getting stronger with each practice and game, and building great team connections.
“The energy on the team is amazing and I see it increasing with every game,” senior Alice Lifshitz said. “Last night we gave it our best and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved.”
There is much more to come with our lady Vikings, and the girls expect a strong rest of the season.
