The girls lacrosse team demolished Wilcox yesterday during their home game yesterday with a final score of 14-1. The game started off quick for Paly as the energy was high and all girls were determined to win.
The game was high scoring for the Vikings as many newer players showed off their skills by scoring their first goals of the season.
“Everyone played really well and we worked really well together as a team today. I was especially proud of the newer girls who really showed up for the team,” senior Jessie Slafsky said.
The team felt a but defeated when Wilcox scored against them but they quickly picked themselves up and brought the energy back into the game.
“I am so proud of the team we all put so much into the game. I remember I was so exhausted by the end of it because of the hot weather and all the intensity from both teams,” senior Katie Yen said.
The girls achieved their second win yesterday, first Carlmont then Wilcox with many more to come.
