Paly wrestling dominated Cupertino on senior night, defeating them 66-10. “It felt good to see some results from all the hard work we’ve put in,” senior Joseph Rose said.

After all of the senior celebrations, Paly came out with intensity, demonstrating all of the hard work they had put in. In almost every match they had, Paly came out on top with a pin, as they had 7 pins in a row, making the score out to be 54-0. But their main source of energy and motivation was not wrestling with them, but off in the stands.

“[The fans] really brought the energy,” Rose said. “I think it honestly did help us wrestle better than the other team and that’s a serious advantage.”

Paly ended up losing two of their last three matches but still came out on top as they won 66-10. They have one more match against Los Gatos next Tuesday before heading into the league tournament.
