The wrestling team has been working hard since November and have returned from break ready to take on fierce competitors in the season. This week, the Vikings took on Los Gatos and took a loss, but are ready to keep working hard.

Senior Caden Soltesz is a three-year Paly wrestler and understands the competition they faced this week.

“Gatos is one of the top teams in the state but we were still able to take some matches off of them,” Soltesz said.

Along with being able to take the win in some matches, Soltesz is ready to work hard in the upcoming season to maintain Paly’s strong athletic reputation.

“We’re gonna take this in our stride, make improvements, and get ready for the two duels we have next week,” Soltesz said.

Paly students and supporters look forward to a strong upcoming season and wish the wrestlers good luck in the upcoming week.
