This past Saturday, the Paly boys soccer team played a home game against Los Altos tying 2-2.
Los Altos gained an early advantage, leading 2-0 against Paly. Los Altos was able to set the stage for a competitive match.
Paly boys battled the rest of the match, and their hard work paid off because in the final 10 minutes of the match, they got a goal. Finally, on the second to last play of the game, with only a minute left, the boys scored a penalty to even the score board.
“We had a rough start, falling behind 2-0,” junior Alec Bonnard said. “We were able to pull it together in the final 10 minutes of the game, scoring two goals, one a penalty.”
This game showcased the perseverance and teamwork of Paly to score two goals in 10 minutes. The boys have another opportunity to play Los Altos, away on January 21st.
