The Paly girls basketball team lost to Los Altos 57-32 in a league game on Friday night Jan. 26 at home. Although they lost, they showed many signs of improvement from the last time they played Los Altos.
The game started off with Los Altos in the lead 21-5 by the end of the first quarter and by halftime, the score was 34-18.
The Paly girls continued to persevere and managed to make the final score 57-32.
“Even though we were down we still played hard until the end,” sophomore Camryn Ogawa said.
Compared to the last time they played Los Altos with a final score of 50-6, the team feels good about how they played.
“We’re definitely growing as a team and getting better,” senior Eliana Friedman said. “I’m really proud of how we’ve gotten better and have really started coming together as a team,”
Ogawa believes many aspects of the team are improving.
“I believe our team communication was stronger than last time we played Los Altos,” Ogawa said. “We are definitely getting better as a team.”
