On Friday, the Paly boys varsity soccer team dominated Saint Theresa 4-0. Continuing strong, the team has been dominant in their last 2 games.
Starting the game with intensity, the team was confident and ready to play. This led to an early start by Lucas Yuan, who led the team by scoring a header off a corner kick.
“We started out really strong, we got a goal in the first 3 minutes, and from there the energy was always on point and everyone had energy.” said Yuan (‘25).
Maintaining that intensity throughout the game, sophomore Rohan Bhatt put another two goals in to put the team away.
“We came out to win every 50/50,” Taishi Liu (‘25) said. “A lot of young guys on our team and I hope this continues throughout the season.”
In a 30-man roster, the team has lots of newcomers, and through this game, many of them were able to see the field, which gave them good experience.
Continuing their dominant win streak, the team is looking forward to carrying this momentum into the league.
