The Vikings took care of theĀ Fremont Firebirds at their second home game this year, earning their biggest blowout of the season with a thirty-one-point victory. Senior forward Jeremiah Fung talks about what led to the team’s success.
“They had one star player, whom we wanted to neutralize,” Fung said. “He ended up not playing, but we brought the same intensity to the players stepping up for him.”
The final score makes this game seem like a complete domination by the Vikings, but junior forward Jake Wang talks about how it took some time for them to get things going.
“The first quarter was super slow, after that, we came out firing and dominated the whole game,” Wang said.
This was a statement win for the Vikings marking three double-digit wins in a row, demonstrating how they are bouncing back after losing by just under twenty points to Sacred Heart Prep.
