Paly Boys soccer faced Mountain View last night but fell to them 2-0.
The Mountain View varsity boys soccer team is currently first in their league, having won their past 6 games, while the Paly boys’ current record is 0-4-2.
“We played really hard today,” junior Alec Bonnard said. “We played defense for a lot of the game and got a few good opportunities but were not able to put any of them away.”
Mountain View scored one goal in the first half and then got another in the second half, ending the game in their favor by a two-point lead.
The Paly boys have struggled a bit this season, with multiple players out with injuries and changes in formations. Nonetheless, they are about halfway through their games this season and still have many opportunities to demonstrate their hard work.
Catch them this Tuesday when they play Los Altos for the second time this season, after tying them in their last match.
