After winning big in their last home game against James Lick, the Paly Girls Basketball team hoped to continue their success. Unfortunately, they followed the win by losing twice in a row, most recently to Lynbrook at home.
One of the main factors hurting the team is their lack of communication.
“I think our team definitely did not play our best yesterday, because we were not communicating with each other on the court and did not start the game with very much energy,” sophomore Abby Neuman said.
Maintaining proper communication will allow the Vikings to perform better as a whole on both on defense and offense.
“When we get to a point where we’re talking and communicating more we’ll be able to be more cohesive,” sophomore Ella Hoy said.
The Vikings hope to bounce back for their next few games before winter break.
“We just need to have confidence in ourselves and our training and keep putting in the work to get better,” Hoy said.
Their next home game is on December 18th against Milpitas.
