The Paly girls soccer team lost to Los Altos in their game on Tuesday the 23rd. While this loss was very upsetting for the team, the game itself was well played.
The match started with lots of intensity and high spirits as the team had previously played and beat Los Altos and won in the weeks prior.
“It started out good and everyone was really giving it their all but slowly you could feel the energy shift as Los Altos started to step up their game,” junior Evin Steele said.
Through the increased intensity from Los Altos junior Evin Steele, Claire Cho and senior Kiana Feldis showed perseverance throughout the game and dominated the field.
“Los Altos played hard until the end despite many bad calls by the ref,” junior Evin Steele said.
“The Los Altos game was definitely a tough loss for the team and we all left with some frustration but I’m really proud of how we responded with our win against Santa Clara,” Feldis said.
The team is saddened by the loss but is looking forward to crushing it in their future game against Saratoga on Tuesday.
“I’m confident we will be able to keep up the positive momentum for the rest of the season and for future games,” Feldis said.
