Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver and two-time Pro Bowler, DeSean Jackson, came to Palo Alto High School Friday afternoon, to speak to students about his life and provide motivation for a brighter future.
Jackson was accompanied by Pittsburgh Steeler Donovon Warren, and his older brother Byron Jackson. The two played football together at Long Beach Poly High School, but parted ways during their college careers as Jackson attended University of California Berkeley and Warren attend University of Michigan.
Byron gave the students a preview of a feature length movie he had been creating that documents his brothers journey to becoming a NFL player. The older of the siblings played briefly for the Kansas City Chiefs and says he compiled more then 1,000 hours of footage from DeSean’s childhood.
Jackson spoke to the Paly students about the importance of staying in school, and always trying your hardest no matter what obstacles you face. Jackson also shared his five keys to success with the Paly students: belief, desire, vision, power, and dream.
