Win or lose, Paly volleyball’s eight seniors will play their final high school volleyball game as the team concludes the 2011 season with the CIF State Championship game. As the season comes to an end, the seniors look back on their favorite moments of the season.
Melanie Wade
Position: Middle blocker
Favorite Moment:“Our dance party on senior night. Not everyone was there but we actually just went crazy in the team room and it was really fun.”
Caroline Martin
Position: Opposite hitter
Favorite Moment: “The CCS finals when we had so many fans and played an awesome game. It was every moment, we just played a great game.”
Maddie Kuppe
Position: Outside hitter
Favorite Moment:“When Jackie [Koenig] (’12) ate the scorpion at the Reno tournament. I literally videotaped her eating a scorpion.”
Kimmy Whitson
Position: Setter
Favorite Moment: “My favorite moment was at CCS finals when everyone did the ‘I Believe’ cheer.”

Favorite Moment: “Making a fort on the eight hour bus ride to States”

Favorite Moment: “The bus ride here because it is our last time as a team together and it was really fun to be with everyone.”
Tiffany Tsung
Position: Libero
Favorite Moment: “Senior night because the underclassmen did a really great job of honoring us and it was really really fun and we all had fun playing Gunn.”
Ashley Shin
Position: Libero
Favorite Moment: “When we beat Presentation in five games at the beginning of the season. It was really exciting to public school them.”
