Patrick McIntosh

The Palo Alto High School girls lacrosse team were upset earlier this week to major rival Los Gatos. This was their first of the season.

As the girls team looks to rebound, they immediately get a second chance with the Wildcats of Los Gatos this Friday night. The young team aims to prove they are the best in the league.

As the Vikings reflected on the game Tuesday, they could not shake the terrible feeling they had about the Los Gatos sideline.

“The Los Gatos students were making fun of us and talking poorly about our team and verbally harassing us. Their sideline was built up with about 100 students. Our team was deeply offended”

Sydney Schwan (19) is a returning player from last year’s championship. She took to facebook on the day after the game to express her dissatisfaction with how the game went and how the opposing students acted.

With this already adding to the rivalry game that Paly vs Los Gatos you can be sure that Paly will come out flying Friday night.
Schwan went on to call for as many Paly students to come out to there game on Friday night as they fight to reclaim the top of the league. The game starts at 7pm on the Paly lacrosse field.
