Paly’s girls’ varsity cross-country teams places second at Crystal Springs league meet and qualifies for the Central Coast Section (CCS) races. Katie Foug (‘15), placed first for the Vikings today.
The team is happy with their results and hopes to step it up in the championship.
“As a team we did really well,” Foug said. “Especially because we missed one of our top runners Nora Rosati.”
They plan to keep up the hard work and give it their best shot at CCS.
“It was satisfying to finish second, of course we wanted to get first,” Foug said. “We will keep improving when we get to CCS and hopefully get a run at states.”
The Lady Vikes will be running on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Toro Park in Monterey for their first round of the CCS championship.
