In their penultimate game of the season, the Vikings lost against Monta Vista on Tuesday. They fought hard and both teams played strong defense, and the game ended with a score of 3-5, with Monta Vista emerging as winner.

“The game went alright,” second baseman and senior Lauren Chung. “We played well defensively, but we couldn’t get it going with our bats in the last few innings, which ultimately cost us the game.”

The Vikings have their final game of the season and senior night on Thursday at home. They will play Lynbrook.
