The girls took their first league win on Wednesday at 7:oopm against Carlmond High. After a tough loss against Los Altos on Monday, senior Katie Yen was excited to feel the energy this game.
“This was our first victory of the season, and there was a lot of great energy especially after we got the big lead,” said Yen, who scored four goals.
Attack was performing their best, and seemed to get a rhythm down right off the bat.
“I feel like our attack has been struggling over the past few scrimmages and games, but we really pulled it together and started working cohesively,” Yen said.
The players can’t forget the important roles the entire defensive line also plays in the win.
“Our defense and our new goalie just crushed it,” Yen said. “I’m super excited for what’s to come.”
