Palo Alto girls Softball lost to Cupertino yesterday with a final score of 13-2.
The girls started this game with only one win to their belt this season, so the momentum and energy was definitely down from the beginning.
“We aren’t able to effectively get things done, we are making so many errors.” sophomore Kendra Arias said.
The girls started off letting in many runs from the start which effectively shut down any possible momentum to form from the girls.
“It was hard for morale to build after a devastating start to the game,” freshman Olivia Zappas said.
Ultimately, they were able to stop runs from accumulating too much toward the end of the game. Which allowed for the girls to gain some momentum to make it an even match toward the end of the game.
“We ended up playing relatively well towards the end.” Senior Hana Foster said.
