Palo Alto girls Softball lost to Cupertino yesterday with a final score of 9-4. “It was a game we played hard from the start and we fought till the end with a few errors letting in a lot of runs,”Senior Hana Foster said.
The team had a few more weeks to get in their groove for this game and understand their strengths and what needs to be improved upon.
“We were able to start with a close game in the beginning which made our momentum run high and strong.” freshman Laila Joshi said.
Towards the middle of the game the girls were slipping from their lead and ultimately let in a few more runs.
“It crushed our team’s confidence,” freshman Olivia Zappas said.
Ultimately, they were unable to stop runs from accumulating toward the end of the game. Which allowed for the girls to loose some momentum toward the end of the game.
“We ended up playing poorly toward the end.” freshman Olivia Zappas said.
