Palo Alto High wins against Mountain view 16-5 continuing on the road to winning Peninsula-Bay league.
Although at the time the Paly Vikings had a record of 9-4 they seemed to have gotten too comfortable with where they stood and as they played against Bellarmine College Prep on April 12th they had gotten destroyed 19-3.
Using their loss to Bellermine Junior Milo Sabino feels that his team chose to use the loss as motivation to win against Mountain view.
“We played a really good game tonight,” Sabina said. “After we got destroyed by Bellermine we decided to lock in.”
As the boys lacrosse team headed into their game against Mountain view they were motivated to destroy as they were not just fighting for a win but they were fighting for placement, hopefully getting second place if they win their game.
“We’ve been taking practice more seriously and it’s been showing in our games, and hopefully we will come in 2nd in the league” Sabina said.
